Second day styling...

Since my "hair raising" experience with bleach this week, I have come to the conclusion that perhaps I should try and wash my hair every other day instead of every day, which inevitably takes it's toll on the hair.
,
But, I am a little stuck with styles, I don't necessarily want people thinking I haven't washed my hair so I want a different style for day two, and also because my hair gets quite flat so needs re-styling.

The first look I have been sporting is the side plait:-

Then I wondered about the messy bun:-

Or some beachy waves:-

How do you style your hair on the second day?

  1. I clip the sides back away from my face, and because its day old hair it holds the style better and I find it easier to create more volume around my crown :) it's simple but looks different

  2. Eventually your hair will look as good on the second day as it does on the first. I wash mine once a week and it never gets greasy until at least 4 or 5 days in and then I attack with dry shampoo.

Washing your hair MAKES it greasy. Just leave it to do it's thing, you'll be surprised at how your hair thanks you for it.

  3. I wash my hair twice a week and would probably wash it even less than that if I could!
Emma is right, the constant washing, makes it greasier!
I 'd say the messy bun would really work, sth easy and quick to do! ;)

  4. I don't really have your problem, as my hair rarely gets greasy so I only tend to wash it twice a week.
I'm a fan of the messy bun - really simple and easy for when you're in a rush. :)

  5. I used to wash mine every day but have started washing it every other now. At first- it looked quite greasy on the second day but now it's got used to it. I usually do waves on the second day and use lots of dry shampoo (which I couldn't live without!) x
