MAC haul..

Here are a few bits I picked up at MAC today.

First we have the 109, I have been wanting this brush for ages. I know that a lot of people have been using this for foundation application. As I am always interested in achieving a "flawless" face, I thought that I just had to give it a try!
I also picked up a 213 brush which I will be using for eyeshadows, I had a teeny 213 which came with a Christmas palette so I knew I liked it, I just wanted the longer handled version.

Finally I wanted to add to my eyeshadow collection and saw Dazzlelight, which really caught my eye. Sorry my swatch isnt very clear, its a lovely cream sheen.

So what would you recommend for my next trip to MAC?

L'Occitane goodies...

So today while browsing my local Fenwicks I stumbled on the L'Occitane stand, and the rest as they say is history.
Ta da!

I present to you L'Occitane Ultra Riche Foaming Cleanser and L'Occitane Fresh Face Water, in their lovely vintage packaging glory!

The cleanser speaks for itself, the main reason for purchasing this was to remove my makeup i.e foundation etc. It smells divine, like fresh clean babies, and I am loving it so far!

The "face water" is an oily consistency and designed to be used as a toner or makeup remover so I have started to use it to take off my mascara. I squirt one spritz of the oil onto my eye (closed!) and leave it for a few seconds and wipe away with a cotton pad, as if by magic all the layers of mascara and eyehadow, eyeliner just disappear! I would recommend to all.

Have you had any good experiences with L'Occitane?

Skincare...

So after being an avid reader of Bubblegarm's Blog, and after suffering from some unsightly hormonal acne scars on my chin, I decided to start using Neals Yard Jasmine Enriching Cream.

She has commended the cream for helping to heal and fade acne scars, so here goes!

The scent is quite powerful, very herbal but I must say I am quite liking it!

I have taken a before photo, which I will not inflict on you all but at least I will have something to compare it to once I have finished the tub.

Do you have any skincare tips for fading acne scars and have you any stories of the Jasmine Enriching Cream?
