Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation | £9.99
My absolute favourite foundation is Bourjois Healthy Mix. I've mentioned my love for MAC's Studio Fix Fluid before but this foundation just pips it to the post for my favourite foundation title. I wore Dior Forever foundation today and felt absolutely caked in the stuff, and I looked caked in it too, which is never a good look! This only reconfirmed my love for Bourjois Healthy Mix. I like it for the following reasons:-
Ease of application. | Can be haphazardly applied and still look great. | Nice range of colours for my skintone. | Lasts all day. | Looks natural and doesn't cake up or separate. | Smells nice. | Affordable. | Handy packaging (pump). | Medium to full coverage. | Buildable coverage. | Photographs well.
I have repurchased this and will continue to do so. I used to be a little embarrassed about using it when I have the likes of MAC, NARS, Dior and Chanel in my makeup drawer, but if none of them can perform as well as this foundation, I don't care any more! For reference I wear the shade 52 but I have found that most shades (bar the darkest of course) work for me, give or take a bit of St Tropez!
I wear this foundation 9 times out of 10, and after my awful experience with Dior Forever today, wont be swapping it for another anytime soon.
Now I really need to try this! Will deffo buy this after I use up my current Max Factor one x

DeleteI totally understand your feelings and I so agree with you!! I have been using this in shade 54 for the last 7 months and I totally love it. Even in Indian summers, you can only guess what it's like, it survives the day and makes me look fresh till the evening. I'm surely repurchasing this!!

DeleteI have been wearing this foundation a lot recently too, the only problem is is that I find it doesn't have the best staying power on me :( I am keen to try the serum version of this next! x
ReplyDeleteMe too, I have been debating on getting the serum one instead when I need to repurchase but I cant help thinking why stray when the normal Healthy Mix is such a great foundation. x
DeleteI loveee this foundation but as my skin is so crappy at the moment I've been using very full coverage foundations. Can't wait to use this again in the summer when I want a bit less coverage! X

DeleteI use the Healthy Mix serum, because my skin is a bit dry in the winter, and it is my favorite foundation. I used to wear the Bobbi Brown ones, but this is way too better. I want to try this one too. After using healthy mix serum for a while, I came back to my other foundations and I was so disappointed because I didn't get the same results.

I tried this and absolutely loved it!! But it started to break me out after a while :( It was so annoying! Revlon Colourstay is doing it for me now though, couldnt be without it! x
