SUPER O-MEGA MOISTURE

If you've read any of my recent posts you will recall that my skin has been on the dry side lately. One of the many products in my bathroom cabinet which has been helping is SUPER O-Mega Moisture which I have been using as my day cream.

One of the main reasons I like this cream is obviously the hydration, but it is free of parabens, propylene glycol, mineral oil, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes and fragrances. I've been reading the ingredients listing of products more recently and have been noticing a heck of a lot of them contain these nasties and I'd like to take steps to limit the use of them in my own skincare, haircare, bodycare routines. I won't go into detail on this, feel free to Google them and make your own mind up.

A richly moisturizing cream for dry skin types. Formulated with Chia, a tiny seed that delivers more Omega-3 than flax or fish, satisfying skin’s craving for moisture.Omega-3 is the world’s most perfect anti-inflammatory featuring DHA and EPA. Absorbs quickly for deep hydration.

Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Squalane, Isopropyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Glycerin, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil, Hydroxylated Lecithin, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Benzyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Phosphatidylcholine, Dimethyl MEA (DMAE), Disodium EDTA, Glyceryl Dibehenate, Parfum (Fragrance), Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Tribehenin, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Tocotrienols, Glyceryl Behenate, Tocopherol, Copper Gluconate, Sodium Hyaluronate

Fragrance is derived from natural extracts and essential oils.

I can't tell you how lovely and light this moisturiser is to use and yet it's very hydrating. It almost contradicts itself I know but I do think it's because it's not full of anything that would just give the illusion of supply skin like mineral oil, it seems to work deep down to make the difference rather that sit on the surface. I think oily skins would like this moisturiser too because it's not greasy or heavy. It just feels like goodness on your skin.

You can find the SUPER range online at http://www.getsuper.co.uk/ and Boots.

    1. It's definitely an eye opener! I try not to be too obsessive about it, but when it comes to my skincare I'd prefer less chemicals. xx
