TOPSHOP CHAIN FRONT CROSS BODY BAG

I've been after a new summer bag for a few weeks now and I wanted to downsize. I love the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bags that I keep seeing a lot of bloggers with but am really reluctant to order one without seeing it first in the flesh so when I was in Topshop today I saw this little beauty and had to have it! It has a long strap but you can adjust it by twisting the straps under the flap to make it more of a shoulder bag. It's artificial leather but up close you really wouldn't be able to tell. The black version isn't nearly as nice, but it's the only one I can find online to show you.

Have you got a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag or similar? What are your favourite bags of the moment?

LUSH HAUL

I haven't bought anything from Lush in a while. After a fruitless shopping trip into town I decided to get a bubble bar...well one bubble bar turned into a few bubble bars, some bath bombs and a moisturiser. Oops! They did however give me some samples, which was sweet. Three, yes THREE pots of Mask of Magnaminty and a Marilyn. I am going to enjoy soaking in a Lush bath this evening slathered in Mask of Magnaminty. How perfect!

Have you bought anything from Lush recently? What's your favourite product?

JOHN FRIEDA FULL REPAIR

I've been on a bit of a hair kick these last few days. Mine has just not been behaving. I think it's grown too much and needs a re-style at the hairdressers to give it a bit more oomph but for now I'm just diving into all the haircare goodies the likes of Boots can offer me!

I picked up these three products today, solely on the fact that Corrie raved about them all and she has the most gorgeous hair! I was completely sold when I saw that Boots had them on a 3 for £10.00 deal. If you're after these then get yourself down to Boots and grab some.

Has anyone tried these? What were your thoughts?

YSL LUXURIOUS SHOCKING VOLUME MASCARA

The UK's No.1 Luxury Black Mascara in new shocking formula. New immediate and shocking volume overdose. Exclusive helix-cut brush for maximum load on the brush and immediate and extreme volume on the lashes from the roots.

I've always been a fan of YSL mascaras. I'd religiously buy their Faux Cils mascara in a set at the airport with Touché Eclat and a little mini eye makeup remover. I decided to try their newish mascara offering, Shocking. I had been using the likes of L'Oreal and Rimmel previously. Trying a highend mascara again has been a joy. I used to get smudging, flaking and transfer with cheaper mascaras but nothing at all with this. I'm so pleased.

I would say that you get a lot of product on the wand and it can look a little clumpy but if you like that look then great! I am quite light with my application and if I go a little overboard for daytime, I comb through my lashes to separate. It hold the curl amazingly well, something again which a cheaper mascara never did for me, unless it was waterproof and I can't stand waterproof mascaras. You can apply this lightly for daytime (only one coat needed!) and then layer up for a more dramatic look for evening.

L'OREAL HAIR EXPERTISE EVERSLEEK SMOOTH INTENSE MASK

L'Oreal Hair Expertise EverSleek Smooth Intense Mask is another new product to L'Oreal's vast haircare universe.

Specifically designed for frizzy, overworked hair, the L'Oreal Hair Expertise EverSleek Smooth Intense Mask combines smoothing care with an indulgent nourishing treatment.

This smells warm, cocoa buttery, vanillary scent which is lovely. The scent does not linger on my hair but I think it could be too cloying if it did so I'm fine with that. The texture of the mask itself is very think and dense. Not a thing like my L'Oreal Full Restore 5 Mask Pot (which I adore btw).

I would say that in hindsight it probably isn't overly suited to my hair type and so it leaves a little bit of a residue but it's workable, and if you had thicker hair than me then it would probably be fine. This is sulphate-free but has those nasty parabens in there still. I don't mind, but when you're buying a product that you believe to be better for your hair, shouldn't they go the whole hog and remove the parabens too? Just a thought.

M&S SWEET BERGAMOT MINI INFUSION SET

I adore home fragrance. I have candles scattered all around my home (mainly Yankee Candles, in case you were wondering). But for those times when it's just not practical to have a candle burning, I love reed diffusers. I picked up this mini set of reeds for the bargain price of £10.00 from Marks & Spencers of all places. I'm not overly keen on scents that are too sweet but this is the perfect mix of sweet and fresh. The fragrance really permeates the room and I'm always getting compliments on how delicious my house smells! I'd definitely recommend picking a set up.
